Host a Halloween Game Night: The Most Festive Slot to Spin on October 31

October 31 deserves more than a bowl of candy by the door. Dim the lights, put on your costume, and turn Halloween night into a game night for the grown-ups. Every great party needs a main event, and if you're spinning at Voltage Bet, we've picked the slot that feels most like Halloween itself: Halloween Bonanza from BGaming.

It's bright, loud, packed with pumpkins and treats, and built for those big, shared "did you see that?" moments. Here's how to set the scene and make the most of it.

Set the scene for a Halloween game night

A good game night starts before anyone spins. A few simple touches turn an ordinary evening into an event:

• Lighting. Swap the overhead lights for candles, string lights, or a couple of carved pumpkins. Low, warm light makes every screen glow.
• Snacks on theme. Candy corn, caramel apples, and anything orange or black. Keep a bowl of treats within reach, just like the reels will.
• Costumes optional, spirit required. A witch's hat or a pair of fangs is enough to get everyone in the mood.
• A playlist. Spooky classics in the background keep the energy up between bonus rounds.

This is a night for adults of legal age, so plan accordingly. Each player uses their own Voltage Bet account and sets their own budget; the fun comes from watching the action together.

Why Halloween Bonanza is the slot for October 31

Halloween Bonanza is BGaming's love letter to the holiday. The studio describes it as "everything we love about Halloween, from chilling pumpkins and charming witches to thrilling treats," and the reels deliver exactly that: glowing pumpkins, witches, bats, and sweets piled high on a big 6x5 grid.

It's a perfect party pick for three reasons. The theme is festive rather than frightening, so nobody spends the night hiding behind a cushion. The action is fast and easy to follow, which matters when friends are watching over your shoulder. And the free spins round is built for big, crowd-pleasing moments.

How Halloween Bonanza plays

Pays anywhere

There are no paylines to track. Symbols pay wherever they land on the 6x5 grid, and the payout depends on how many matching symbols appear at the end of a spin. That makes it easy for everyone in the room to follow along: if the screen fills with pumpkins, you'll know.

Refilling reels keeps the spin going

Every time a combination pays, those symbols disappear, the remaining symbols drop down, and new ones fall in from above. If the new symbols form another paying combination, the process repeats.

One spin can chain together several payouts in a row, which is exactly the kind of moment that gets a room cheering.

Free spins with multipliers up to x100

Land four or more scatters to trigger the free spins round, with up to 30 free spins on offer. This is where the party really starts. Multiplier symbols appear only during free spins, each carrying a random value from x2 to x100. If more than one lands in the same spin, their values add together before they apply to that spin's payout.

BGaming rates Halloween Bonanza as very high volatility, which means quieter stretches between the big moments, with a top payout of 10,197x your stake. For a game night, that's part of the fun: the whole room gets to share the build-up when the scatters start landing.

Buy Bonus and Chance x2

Two options let you shape the session. Buy Bonus takes you straight to free spins, and Chance x2 raises the cost of each spin slightly in exchange for better chances of triggering the round.

At Voltage Bet, the in-game rules list the Buy Bonus RTP at 94.51% and the Chance x2 RTP at 94.14%, alongside the 94.15% base game figure. Both options cost more than a regular spin, so decide in advance whether they fit your budget.

Game night ideas that keep it fun

You don't need complicated rules to make a slot the center of a party. A few easy formats work well:

• Spin and pass the spotlight. Each player takes a turn on their own account while the room watches, then hands the spotlight to the next person.
• Best cascade of the night. Celebrate whoever chains the longest run of refilling reels. Bragging rights only.
• The free spins watch party. When anyone triggers free spins, everyone gathers round to count the multipliers as they drop.
• Costume bonus. Best costume picks the playlist for the next hour.

Keep the competition about the moments, not the amounts. The best game nights end with stories, not scorecards.

Keep the night fun for everyone

• Set your budget before the party starts. Decide what your session is worth and stick to it, however lively the room gets.
• Plan for Buy Bonus and Chance x2. Both raise the cost of play, so treat them as part of your budget, not an extra.
• Remember, every spin stands alone. A long wait for free spins doesn't make them more likely on the next spin.
• Know when to call it. The best parties end on a high note, so pick a finish time in advance.
